Fresh strawberries have been around for about 10 days
but are really prolific now that we are inching towards July
So we decided to pick berries at River Lily Farm in Ogunquit
and this is the result of about 20 minutes effort
the berries are big, juicy and sweetthey are just perfection
like eating sunshine
I made biscuitsbig tender, flaky biscuits
to have with the berries and cream
I thought strawberry shortcake for dinner sounded about right
Somedays you don't just eat dessert first
it is all you choose to eat!
