To have a healthy adrenal system in four steps, tell yourself,
(1) When it begins, is always the right time.
(2) When it's over, it's over.
(3) Whatever you did today, was exactly what had to be done.
(4) Who ever shows up are exactly the right people.
Feel the release of tension when you let go of the "I should have" thoughts.
We can learn to let go of the believe that we didn't do enough, didn't do it right enough, didn't start soon enough. And replace that negative thinking with the knowledge that everything we did was just right enough.
I had the great good fortune to have had Dr. Christiane Northrup as my physician/surgeon while she was still in her medical practice, Woman To Woman, down in Yarmouth, Maine. At that time, she published a newsletter with lots of good information and health tips. It was there that I read this 'tip' about how to maintain a healthy adrenal system. Immediately, it made sense to me. More, I felt it at visceral level. The release was and has been powerful whenever I have reminded myself that, "yes, I really did enough". Thank you, Dr. Northrup.
