Upcycling

Take one new white long-sleeved sweatshirt

Cut off the ribbing at wrist and bottom

Cut out the neckband

Slash a wide asymmetrical 'V' in its place

Select some vintage buttons

small, tiny, medium size
in alabaster, mother of pearl and synthetic

Strew them around artfully

and hand-sew into place along the new neckline

and decoratively around the shoulders

Voila!

to wear with loose pants at the beach
which is exactly what I did!
