Like Jazz . . . .

Life is a lot like jazz ...
it's best when you improvise.
George Gershwin

George Gershwin
appeared as a soloist
at a concert in Carnegie Hall
December 3, 1925
playing his “Concerto in F,”
the first jazz concerto
for the piano in musical history.

(Which was really unusual in Germany at that time!)
