What a poetical way to create a new leaf, Pat. Basil and a fallen leaf, it is dreamy stuff, Pat. Is all your work this poetical?
Well, we finally arrived yesterday in Madrid, finding a house that has been closed for 2 months. Can you imagine the amount of housecleaning that awaits me? And food buying to supply the house? And all the grandchildren coming for lunch? Ah, to be back to earth, to need to get organized and start working. I am looking forward to that.

hello my friend. september, for those of us who spent too many years in academia, is still the time when we begin anew. when the juices flow with new resolutions. and new projects. not the new year but new school year.....
