thank you, Francoise. this is from a quite large collection of naturally dyed fabric the colors of which came from my herbaceous border that included both perennial flowers, herbs and even some annuals.
i love seeing how this is growing...

i thought i was on to 'something' earlier tonight. then i hit a road block.....need to sleep on.....hand the pieces on a wall and live with them a while......
T, tonight i quilted on the major veins in the leaf....and quite like the result.....with a bit of cotton batting under the leaf the effect is sort of like trapunto .... or something.....
Thanks for sharing information at your prevous posts...i'm drinking it in and understand your fascination. You're translation with your fabrics fascinate me!
